DULIN®

Background information
DULIN® (Procarvol) is a product of Tesla Bioscience, a novel pharmaceutical drug developed to eradicate infections using a new innovative mechanism of action that simultaneously destroys bacteria and fungi without harming the cells of the patient.
The first compound, called DULIN (Procarvol) has been independently studied at Cornell University, Iowa State University, UC Davis and some EU Universities to understand its chemical features and mode of action, and then In Vivo test in animals have been successfully completed. The results of the pilot tests showed that DULIN® (Procarvol) is highly effective and fast acting in the treatment of infections in animals caused by pathogens. Due to its unique mode of action, DULIN® (Procarvol) prevents bacterial drug resistance. It shows selective toxicity, has limited side effects, and a very low risk of overdose.

Mode of action
The mechanism of action of DULIN® (Procarvol), is a liposoluble compound based on its ability to interact with the cytoplasmic membranes of pathogenic microorganisms, changing the structure of phospholipid bilayer by deforming macromolecules and significantly increasing its permeability. This, in turn, causes the leakage of the cytoplasm and the intracellular constituents, resulting in rapid pathogen death. All these changes caused by DULIN (Procarvol) result in cellular death of the microorganism in an extremely short period of time which will prevent bacteria from producing generations of drug-resistant offspring.

Effectiveness
DULIN® (Procarvol) is a sterile, stabile, natural derivative and a broad-spectrum compound for the treatment of sepsis, nosocomial and opportunistic infections. The active principle of DULIN® (Procarvol) is stable quaternary ammonium complex of Procaine and Carvacrol in an oily liquid form. DULIN® (Procarvol) is more effective than standard 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotics in the treatment of mentioned infections. DULIN® (Procarvol) is created to fight anti-biotic resistance of pathogenic bacteria, such as: Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Salmonella spp., TBC and others. Based on specific mechanism of action, active compound of DULIN® (Procarvol) is objectively different than any other antibiotic currently available on the market.
